When we set out to design this mattress, our goal was to create a premium, firm-feeling sleep surface that delivers targeted pressure relief without compromising support, stability, or durability. From the very first test, this mattress stood out for its supportive, balanced feel, cooling comfort layers, and responsive design that keeps your body properly aligned night after night.

At the surface, a temperature-regulating fabric cover is quilted with 1.5” of memory foam, providing light cushioning without excessive sink. Beneath the quilted top, a thoughtfully engineered comfort stack of 1” Serene® memory foam, .5” copper gel memory foam, 1” firm support foam, and 2” medium transition foam works together to relieve pressure while maintaining a firm, supportive feel. These layers contour just enough to cradle pressure points while promoting proper spinal alignment and easy movement—without the “stuck” sensation common in softer memory foam mattresses.

At the core, a high-quality pocketed coil support system made up of 800 individually pocketed steel coils delivers durable, targeted support. Each coil responds independently, reducing motion transfer while reinforcing a stable, firm foundation that supports the body evenly from head to toe.

Reinforced with Quantum Edge® Technology, firmer, smaller-diameter coils surround the entire perimeter, creating a strong, supportive edge and maximizing usable sleep surface. This advanced edge design outperforms traditional foam-encased rails in durability and airflow, while remaining fully compatible with adjustable bases.

• High Density Layers of Padding
  • All mattresses have differing types of foams to provide certain feels. This is what makes a firm bed firm and what makes a soft bed soft. These layers are for your comfort and support.
  • We only use high density layers of foam padding. Whether it’s our super soft or extra firm layers of padding, we only use high quality, high density foam padding.
  • The more dense foam is the more durable it typically is. Density is weight per cubic foot and most mattresses have 1.2 lb-1.5 lb. density foam, but in all of our L & K products we use 2.3 lb. foam or better for more support, comfort and durability. Our foam is heavy but that’s a good thing. We use heavier foams than most major name brands so our foam compacts less over a period of time and remains supportive for many years to come.
